Find Your Money Maker - Then Grow
So many of the internet marketing tips, techniques and strategies you read abou today do work, but make two very large, important assumptions... 1. That you have found a money-making product & sales page (either another product you promote as an affiliate or your own) 2. And that you know the right keywords that buyers use to seek out these products that they want so badly WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS The typical entrepreneur that tries to make it rich on the internet begins by creating websites, blogs, writing articles, issuing press releases, posting in forums, social bookmarking, and dozens of other techniques that keep them busy and feeling like they are doing the right things to make their internet business work I've coached people who have been working like dogs for months - even more than a year and only making a few bucks in the process. Often they end up throwing their hands up in the air and giving up claiming that internet marketing is just too hard, or that online marketing doesn't work! WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN The reality is that internet marketing is NOT all that hard, but it does depend heavily on you having a winning combination of market desire, product and keyword knowledge... Just like in the offline business world, it doesn't matter how much advertising you do, if you have a crappy product that is not desired or if your advertising message is the wrong one - you will not make sales or money. Internet marketing is the same - it is, after all, just another form of marketing. What is really needed then is a systematic way to uncover profitable markets, find out what those markets are spending money on, and understanding how they search for those products online. WHAT DO WE MEAN BY USING A SYSTEM? For example, it could be a Clickbank product where you systematically perform keyword research (which is more than just finding keywords by the way, it is actually selecting the high ROI keywords), then systematically forward a few hundred unique visitors to either an intermediate landing page or directly to the sales page and test response. If your results are poor, then you know that within a couple of days and you move to the next niche or next product. In the meantime you systematically perform market research looking for patterns of products that are selling to hungry markets - sort of re-engineer successful businesses and products. That will give you BIGTIME clues as to what is hot and what is not (and you are right, MOST of it is NOT) If you haven't already done so, head over to the Introduction to our 6-Week InfoProduct Profit Formula course - this course teaches you exactly what it takes to systematically find hot markets, uncover what they are buying, find out the most profitable keywords to bring traffic & sales to your website and then continually ramp up your profits on the "winners" without wasting time or money on the losers. The Introduction to Information Product Profit Formula is here: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/members/department48.cfm You will find Week 1 lessons here: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/members/department49.cfm If you are spending any more than a few days on a website or product that is not making you money, then there is something wrong with your system, or even worse, you don't have one. The vast majority of internet marketing techniques(ex. blogging, article writing, expanded PPC, Yahoo Answers, Social Bookmarking, etc...) should only occur AFTER you know you have a winner and can really ramp up your profits. What you want to do is systematically research and test to find a winner (your own product or existing product) with combination of keywords, copy and product that do convert AND THEN you can go crazy generating traffic. I do this in niche after niche and out of testing some 30 + different niche/product combinations I have 12 products in 4 niches that make me many times what you list per product...the trick is finding the hot sellers and then quickly validating through testing before you put huge effort into expanding traffic. The great thing about this approach is that when you DO find a winner, you can really maximize return by list building, offering additional products, evolving your own product offerings, licensing, etc...
