Information Publishing Success System
Hi all -- I wanted to post this quickly since I've had a number of private emails come to me in the last few days about staying on course, what steps to take next, etc... I know it's really easy to get lost in the process because there are a number of steps - and it can be easy to get distracted by all of the noise going on within the internet marketing space. The good news is that in almost every case, the process for designing, launching and operating a serious information publishing business is the same...completely repeatable and duplicatable. Here is a high-level summary - the more detailed version is available to members through the Download Library under Checklists - where you will find the Information Product Profits Checklist. 1. You want to research and uncover markets where there is already proven demand for information. To get rolling you can watch these two videos, (HINT** video 1 shows a method I bet you have not thought of ever before) http://www.infomarketerszone.com/public/321.cfm?sd=2 And this video shares some of our proven techniques for uncovering niche markets that have huge opportunity for marketing information: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/public/304.cfm We have several methods in our Audio/Video and Quick Start program over at: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/members/department46.cfm to help you research Clickbank, Amazon, Yahoo Answers, Blog Directories, For Dummies sites....to determine the commercial potential of a topic or idea. 2. You want to create a unique value proposition for your product - make it better than what already exists (through bundling, changing the format, adding a service element, better targeting it at the desire, and so on...). You'll find all about how easy it can be to get your own unique value proposition in any market here: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/members/182.cfm 3. You want a landing page with a giveaway (report, audio file, video, etc..) of high value to give away to your "cold" traffic - this is often called a "squeeze" page - the form on this page is from an autoresponder such as
http://www.highertrustmarketing.com/part/aw/ - that will get your list building going. 4. You need to have a sales site for your ebook (relatively simple, 1-page site designed to offer your ebook or info product for sale). Froma design perspective, these pages are simple...the most important part is that you have written your sales letter completely with a typical prospect in mind focusing on these 4 aspects:
- Show empathy with the struggle your prospect is having
- Catch their attention with a BIG promise
- Focus on "what's in it for them" throughout the sales letter (and it should directly link to their overall desired outcome
- Put an irresistable offer in front of them - build in scarcity by limiting availability of the main product, the bonuses, a special offer, etc...
5. Then, you need to drive traffic to that site to measure conversion (how many people buy versus visit and leave) and improve that over time. That's where our Quick Start system comes into play - the system that allows us to take 500-1000 keywords and within 5-7 days pick out the most profitable 10-15 that we can use to optimize our website for maximum profits - the Quick Start System is here: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/members/department58.cfm 6. Setup a Blog: The main purpose of setting up a blog is to drive traffic, you want to do that to really get the traffic moving to your landing pages and sales sites - so let's be sure of the site you are setting up first. Not only should you setup your blog and get posting, follow these important tips for really turning your blog into a traffic magnet: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/public/320.cfm?sd=2 7. You should have an autoresponder so that you can begin building a list and sending automated follow-up messages to your list that will automatically build rapport and crediblity while offering your prospects that chance to get even more, high value information from you leading them back to your sales pages. These are the basics of getting your business up and running and making money. Once you get to this stage, then you can really ramp up profits by using advanced traffic generation techniques, play around with optmiizing your pages for better conversions, adjusting your offers to include upsells, downsells, and cross-sells, go after joint ventures and affiliates and build up additional products and services. But before all of that - just as any house needs a solid foundation, your business needs to be build on a strong base - let's get that going first. Here is another free video that goes into more detail about creating your own Information Product CashBack System - it may take a few minutes to load, but it should be well worth the wait: http://www.infomarketerszone.com/public/369.cfm?sd=2 Jeff
